Design is part of our lives every day. It is a container for all we see, absorb, interact with and consume. It shapes the way we learn and how we feel about products and businesses. We use design to define and express our own characters and personalities. Because of this, design should be rooted in a strong conceptual base, everything the designer does should be for a reason.
I have a strong process from conceptual beginnings through to a finely crafted end product. The final result must look amazing, be appropriate for the business or brand, achieve the clients goals and speak the right language for its audience.
A sensitivity for all areas of the creative process has come from years of working in a broad range of environments within the industry. I have worked in design studios in multiple countries, in-house for a surf/snow brand, at a global advertising agency and of course as a freelancer for range of businesses and agencies.
Curiosity and an interest in understanding my client's business has helped me form an ethos of craft, quality and an appropriate end product, no matter how large or small.
